Scott’s Bar & Brasserie is a firm favourite with locals and guests of the hotel alike.
The welcoming atmosphere and mouth-watering food draws a bustling trade day and night, and it’s clear to see why. The establishment is traditionally decorated, featuring dark wood booths and rich red furnishings. Intimate booths provide a private dining atmosphere, while seating at the bar area is perfect for those in for a drink to start their evening.
Scott’s Bar has gained a reputation as one of the top places to eat in Kilkenny. During the day, we serve a busy carvery. We offer a wide selection of dishes, each one inspired by fresh and local cuisine. There’s an option for every taste, and our welcoming serving staff would be happy to advise you on our daily specials.
Lunch is served daily at the following times:
12noon until 2.30pm Monday - Saturday
12noon until 5.00pm Sunday
In the evening, we offer an a la carte menu. Our a la carte menu is one of the main reasons Scott’s Bar is renowned as one of the top places to eat in Kilkenny. The menu features a range of divine dishes - our chef’s personal favourite is starting with a St. Tola’s Goats Cheese & Beetroot Tartlet, before moving on to a Char-Grilled Rosemary & Garlic Marinated Lamb Cutlet, served with Colcannon Mash, Rosemary and Redcurrant Juice. And of course, there’s always room to indulge in dessert. Though all are equally decadent, a firm favourite with our customers is the Homemade Cheesecake of the Day, served with Mixed Berry Compote.

3pm to 9.30pm Monday –Saturday
5pm to 9pm on Sunday
