We celebrated our wedding at the Newpark Hotel in March, and it was truly a fabulous day from beginning to end. From the moment we arrived, everything felt seamless and beautifully executed, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy every second. Our guests are still talking about the stunning room décor and the incredible food, which was undoubtedly one of the highlights of the day. We were lucky to have lovely weather, adding to the atmosphere and making our reception drinks even more enjoyable, with a wonderful buzz in the room enhanced by a singer and pianist who created an elegant, relaxed setting.

The meal itself was delicious, and the level of service throughout the day was exceptional, we felt so well looked after by the entire team. As the evening unfolded, the celebrations truly came to life. We danced the night away with family and friends, enjoying everything from Irish dancing to the fun and energy of a singing waiter, followed by a fantastic band and DJ who kept the dancefloor full all night long. Later that evening, we made the most of the beautiful garden space for a magical sparkler moment, capturing photos and memories we will treasure forever. Every member of staff, from the bar team to the coordinators, was warm, professional, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect, and we couldn’t recommend the Newpark highly enough, it exceeded all of our expectations.

One of the most special moments of the day, aside from saying “I do,” was the incredible welcome we received upon arriving at the hotel for our reception. Walking into a room filled with our family and friends, and being met with such love and excitement, was unforgettable. Our wedding coordinator made that moment feel so personal and ensured everything ran effortlessly, allowing us to truly enjoy those first precious hours mingling with our guests, memories we will cherish forever.

We also included some meaningful personal touches that made the day even more special. A QR code on each table allowed guests to upload their photos, creating a shared album of memories from every perspective. Perhaps the most touching moment was celebrating my granny’s 95th birthday, which fell on the same day as our wedding. After mentioning it to our coordinator, the team kindly arranged a surprise cake during the meal, and the entire room sang Happy Birthday. It was an incredibly thoughtful gesture by the Newpark team and a moment our family and especially my granny, will never forget.
