Annmarie & Eoin’s love story
The Newpark had actually been the 2nd hotel out of dozens we would go on to view before picking a location and we were instantly in love with the way the set up was done. From the way the ceremony room and the ballroom were set up to the gardens and the lobby for reception and photos, it was absolutely stunning.
The wedding itself was magical. From Annmarie and the girls getting ready in the morning with the hair and makeup artists (including a bottle of champagne whose cork almost left us down a videographer) to myself arriving in the afternoon with the groomsmen for the finishing touches before the ceremony, everything was set up so beautifully and we were made to feel so comfortable and taken care of by the staff from the start of the process up until checking out after.
After coming back we had gotten to the meal, which we had already known was going to be delicious after we’d had our tasting the month prior, so many of our guests specifically brought up the food afterwards and how nice it was.
The bedroom was incredible as well with our own private jacuzzi and a gorgeous bed (which was very necessary after a 21 hour day) and also a beautiful gift from the hotel in personalised champagne glasses which are sitting in a case at home waiting for our anniversary to roll around.
