We had an incredible experience from start to finish and genuinely couldn’t fault the hotel in any way. From our very first visit to the wedding showcase in October 2021, we knew it was the perfect venue for us. The wedding planning team were exceptional throughout the entire process, always quick to respond, endlessly patient with our many questions, and supportive in every possible way.

When the big weekend arrived, everything was thoughtfully organised, including a room the night before where our families could gather and enjoy dinner together.

On the morning of the wedding, the bridal party had a lovely, relaxed start with breakfast delivered to our room while we got ready. The day itself ran seamlessly; the coordinators guided us every step of the way, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy every moment. The room was stunning, with décor provided by the hotel that meant we didn’t need to add anything ourselves. Our guests still talk about how delicious the food was, with excellent service throughout, no delays and a special mention to the chicken and mushroom parcel starter.

We also hosted our day-two celebrations at the hotel, where the team easily accommodated our large group and served fantastic BBQ food. We often say we would do it all again tomorrow and wouldn’t change a single thing.

Although we couldn’t return for our first anniversary as planned, as our second son was born almost exactly a year later, we later celebrated his first birthday with a family stay at the hotel, making it an even more special place for us.
